1. Who we are
GigSurvey is an independent research initiative studying the preferences of gig economy workers regarding platform fees and pricing transparency. We are not affiliated with any of the platforms mentioned on this site (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Upwork, Fiverr, Airbnb, or others). All platform names are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Information we collect
The following mirrors the disclosures shown at collection time:

Marketing / ads: we do not use tracking pixels or advertising SDKs tied to GigSurvey submissions.

4. How we use information
Responses are aggregated for research conclusions. The survey form itself does not collect email, postal code, or phone. After you submit, you may optionally enter an email on the Thank You screen if you want to be notified when aggregated results are ready — that is separate from the survey payload and only used for that purpose.
5. Storage & safeguards
Hosted PostgreSQL (Supabase) with TLS in transit.
6. Third parties
- Vercel hosts the frontend/API.
- Supabase hosts the database layer.
7. Retention
We target deletion or anonymisation after 24 months unless retention is legally required sooner. Contact us at the email above to invoke access or erasure rights.
8. Cookies
GigSurvey does not run advertising cookies for this questionnaire. Operational cookies follow your browser defaults.
9. Operator notice

10. Children
The site targets adults contributing gig-economy signal. Parents may contact us to remove unintended submissions.
